Inter House Hindi Debate in class 5
The Hindi Department, in collaboration with Indra House, organised an Inter House Hindi Debate for the students of Class V on 13 July 2026, in the auditorium. The event provided an engaging platform for the young learners to showcase their proficiency in the language.
Students from the four houses participated in great enthusiasm, presenting well-reasoned arguments and insightful perspectives on a range of contemporary and interesting topics.

The participants impressed the audience with their eloquence, clarity of thought, logical reasoning, creativity and confident stage presence. Their compelling speeches reflected thorough preparation, a nuanced understanding of the topics, and the ability to articulate their viewpoints with conviction. The event witnessed a healthy exchange of ideas, making it both intellectually stimulating and highly engaging.
The competition was judged by Dr Shikha Sharma and Ms Kajal Soni, senior Hindi teachers, whose insightful evaluation and constructive feedback added immense value to the event.
The winners of the competition were as follows.
First Position: Atharv Singh- 5A (Indra House)
Second Position: Shivangi Khare- 5C (Surya House)
Third Position: Jasmaira Kaur- 5A (Surya House)
The competition not only celebrated the richness and expressive power of language, but also inspired students to embrace the values of healthy competition, mutual respect and intellectual curiosity.
