Inter-House Soccer Match

The acronym Stay strong; Open your heart; Confidence; Concentrate; Earn playing time; Repeat succinctly defines SOCCER. The players of both teams displayed indomitable spirit and prowess on the field as they tackled passes, showed off some tactical moves and agile foot-work, passing and receiving the ball. High spirited and enthusiastic, they put forth a thrilling match. It was a pleasure to see both the teams fighting to win and have their respective houses proud. Despite Yash Kumar (10-C) of Surya house scoring two goals, the lead was taken by the duo, Jivesh S Malawalia (10-C) and Harsh (10-B), who scored three goals to win the match for Chandra House. This friendly match was a part of an initiative by the sports' faculty to inculcate the essence of sportsmanship in our children and to give lessons in winning and losing.
