Inter School Chess Tournament 2014

Smt. Mohini Virendra Singh Inter- School Chess Tournament 2014 at Modern School, Vasant Vihar.

At the Smt. Mohini Virendra Singh Inter- School Chess Tournament 2014 organised at Modern School, Vasant Vihar for classes 6 to 8, our School outdid several participating teams in 3 rounds with 10.5 points to take 2nd position in the tournament! Our Aansh Gupta and Aryan Kakkar also took the Board prize, Board no. 1 and 2, of the tournament.

Round 1 - We won 4-0 against DPS Mathura Road Round 2 - We won 4-0 against Bal Bharti School, G.R.H Marg Round 3 - We drew 2-2 against Modern School Barakhamba Round 4 - We drew 2-2 against Modern School, Vasant Vihar Round 5 - We won 2.5-1.5 against Sanskriti School

The tournament is an annual feature and attracts wide participation from numerous schools of NCR. This year 18 teams enrolled.
