Inter-School Competition at Birla Vidya Mandir, Nainital

The Indian School participated in the prestigious "Inter-School Competition" hosted by Birla Vidya Mandir, Nainital, from 21 April to 23 April 2026. The student delegation consisted of Ishita Kapoor (XII), Sakshi Rao (XII), Tashika Rao (XI), Samiya Khurana (XI), Shiksha Dwivedi (XI), and Garvit Chhabra (X), accompanied by Ms Sarika Behl.

In the first event, the "Debate" competition, Tashika Rao and Samiya Khurana delivered a compelling performance marked by articulate expression, persuasive reasoning, and confident rebuttals. Their intellectual rigour and eloquence earned them the esteemed position of First Runner-Up.

In the next event, the "Docu Play", the team comprising Samiya Khurana, Garvit Chhabra, Shiksha Dwivedi, and Ishita Kapoor captivated the audience with a powerful and thought-provoking presentation. Their seamless coordination, emotive portrayal, and impactful narrative were recognised with the prestigious Critics’ Choice Award. In the final event, "Creative Writing", Sakshi Rao and Tashika Rao showcased remarkable imagination and linguistic sophistication. Their well-crafted pieces reflected depth of thought and originality, securing them the position of Second Runner-Up.

Throughout the event, the students exemplified exemplary discipline, teamwork, and a spirit of camaraderie. Their participation not only brought laurels to the school but also provided them with invaluable exposure, enriching their learning beyond the classroom.Â
