Inter-School Debate at Ramjas School, class 11.

Debate enhances public-speaking, analytical and listening skills. It gives a platform to young talented speakers to express their innovative thoughts.

The students of class XI participated in the 18th Annual Inter-School debate at Ramjas School, Pusa Road, on 31 October, 2013.

We reached the venue at 8:45 am. 60 schools from across Delhi participated in the event. To name a few, Springdals School, Pusa Road, Bal Bharati School, Pitampura, Guru Harkishan Public School, St. Thomas School, Mandir Marg, St. Mark's School, Meera Bagh, all branches of Ramjas School, Mount Abu Public School, Gole Market, Cambridge School, Noida.

Ayush Mallik and Pritha Ray of class XI A represented our School.

The eminent panel of judges was from various walks of life; Ms. Sanchita Mukherjee, Masters in International Relations and a consultant trainer with NIE. Ms. Karishma Gaur, M. Phil English from Jamia Millia Islamia. She is a faculty at I.M.S Learning Resource, Dr. Rajalaxmi is senior Lecturer at Janki Devi Memorial College and language consultant with the government.

A discussion was initiated on the following topics: We should live in now and present' and Society has started looking differently at the girl child. Of the 6 best teams that qualified for the final round to be conducted at FICCI Auditorium on 20 November, 2013 we are happy to announce that our's is one!
