Our students participated in an English Debate on 22 August at Modern School, Barakhamba Road. The debate format was a conventional one where three students comprised a team. The team included two speakers to speak for and against the motion respectively, whereas the third was to act as interjector. The event was divided into two categories namely: junior and senior. An eminent panel of judges from the fields of literature and theatre judged the event.

The participants in this category were Samaara Ravish(8-C), Aditi Gaur(7-B) and Ridit Anand (7-D) The topic for the senior category was Celebrities cannot be good role models. The team for the senior category comprised Saumyaa Saxena(12-A), Avantika Chodha(11-D) and Aatif Husain(11-A).
