Modern School, Vasant Vihar held an inter-school Hindi Sahitya competition, SRIJAN on Friday, July 28, 2023. The competition comprised various events at the Primary and Middle levels, like Vigyapan Prastuti, Dohawali and Katha-Vachan for Primary. Hasay Kavita and Debate was for Middle School.
Mr Madan Sahni, Mr Trilokchand Kaushik, Ms Richa Mudgal, and Ms Meena Pandey were the judges for the different events.

The topic of the debate was, "Internet ne jitni samasyaayen hal ki hain, usse jyada samasyaayen badhaee bhi hain." 12 students from The Indian School participated in the competition, namely:

The enthusiastic participation and the high level of creativity displayed during the competition reflected the growing interest for Hindi literature amongst the younger generation. The competition acted as a stepping stone for many aspiring writers and poets to gain recognition and encouragement in their literary pursuits.
