Inter school Quiz at St. Columbas School.
On 26 July 2024, students of The Indian School participated in the Columban Open Quiz, hosted by St. Columba's School. The day commenced with the registration for the quiz, after which the students were escorted to the venue. The event started with a brief introduction, highlighting the significance of the quiz and the level of competition it attracts annually.
The quiz featured a preliminary round that consisted of a written test, in which 70 teams from various schools took part. The questions spanned a wide range of subjects, including history, general knowledge, current affairs, and scientific knowledge. Detailed instructions were provided to ensure that all participants were well-prepared and understood the format. The quiz took place at the Edmund Rice Hall in St Columba’s School, and the questions were displayed through a projector, with the students being asked to write their answers on the given sheets.
Our School team, comprised four enthusiastic students—Akshit Panwar (XII-A), Ashmin (XI-B), Dhruv Sacheti (XII-E), and Niyati Khurana (XII-E) who performed commendably throughout the event. Despite the tough competition, they showcased a strong grasp of the subjects, as well as a positive attitude and teamwork.
The event concluded with the distribution of participation certificates to all teams. It was a challenging yet enriching experience for our students, providing them with valuable insights and preparation for future competitions.
