The prelim round was followed by one of the professors giving a short lecture on Nanotechnology and its applications. Then there was a presentation about lab activities on the same topic.

4 teams qualified for the finals. The finals consisted of 5 rounds of various kinds of questions including logical, audio-visual, and activity-based questions, also based on class XI science syllabus. After the final round was over there were some laboratory demonstrations on Nanotechnology, including activities like synthesis of ferro-fluid, gold nanoparticles etc.

In the end the students were briefed about a few courses available at the university that they could consider pursuing after high school.

Overall, the quiz was a good initiative on the part of Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) to test and enhance the knowledge of class XI science students.
