Interaction with peers in Israel for class 8
A group of students from class 8 of The Indian School got an opportunity to interact with Israeli peers on 7 January 2021. The collaboration was a part of an ISA activity on climate change. The interaction with the students of Hakfar Hayarok in Central Israel turned out to be a very successful one.
Our students presented an intriguing skit followed by an illustrious power point presentation. The skit portrayed the changing climatic conditions of our planet with the passage of time. Students presented themselves as Earth and talked about the changes the planet had witnessed over the years. They also shared their concerns on the topic. The presentation was a report of their investigation on various sub topics relating to the theme. They undertook a comparative study on the climatic changes observed in countries like Niger, China, Australia etc.
The show put up by the students was sincerely lauded by Ms. Ana Arroyo, the Israeli teacher in-charge and her students who asked questions relating to Indian culture and traditions as well.
Our students were appreciated for their innovative ideas and effort. The interaction turned out to be very fruitful and we look forward to meeting again soon as both groups expressed a desire to collaborate again.
