International Commerce Olympiad 2014

The Commerce Teachers' Foundation ( CTF) which organised the 6th International Commerce Olympiad, like previous years, is a non-profit, self/reliant and voluntary organisation established with the prime objective of professional excellence of the commerce teachers' fraternity.

The International Commerce Olympiad is held every year for classes XI & XII across all CBSE affiliated schools, the Olympiad Question Paper being based on the Board pattern. The Olympiad was held on 28 November 2014 at our School. It aimed at identifying talent in Commerce subjects and providing an open platform of competition to young students. It has also been useful for developing familiarity for competitive exams which students pursue post-school like the BBA or CPT, conducted by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Every student scoring a minimum of 60% was eligible for a merit certificate and the topper from each school was eligible for a certificate of excellence and a trophy. From our School Ojasvi Jain, class XII and Mehar Kaur, class XI were the toppers. A trophy was awarded to each along with a trophy for School.

12 students of classes XI and XII have also received merit certificates for excellence in the Olympiad.
