The International French Spell Bee Competition 2017 was held at the India International Centre, New Delhi on 16th January 2018. It was an international level competition held for the finalists of different schools from all over the world. There were schools participating from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Singapore, Kuwait and also from the different states of India. More than 70 schools from all over world participated in the event including our School.
There were three levels first Advanced (9th to 12th), second Intermediate (7th and 8th) and third Debutant (6th). There were 3 judges, namely, Dr. Sushant Mishra ( Professor of French at JNU), Harbinder S. Mehra ( Director of International Activity, Delhi) and Ms. Urvashi Sindhi ( Manager at Campus France, Delhi). The event was organised by Le Frehndi, with a view to promote pronunciation and spelling skills in French. It was a very enthusiastic and useful experience for the students.
