Internship at a chartered accountant's office

3 Commerce students of class 11B., viz., Tanupriya Nagpal, Tushar Bhalla and Tushar Gupta of our School attended an internship at a C.A firm for a week. We introduced ourselves and were introduced to the people working there. We worked under one, Mr. Amod Aggarwal, main partner of the company who reinforced the basics of commerce. He then proceeded to ask us about our interests and then we learnt how to fill bank slips, deposit slips and to withdraw money from the bank.

On the second day we made journal accounts and learnt about the debit and credit rules. On the third day we learnt how to fill the ledger folio column in the journal and further learnt how to prepare a trial balance. On the fourth day we continued to practise making the trial balance. We got our assignments checked on the fifth day and learnt about different types of companies i.e. the public ltd company and the private ltd company. We learnt about the ROA-Registrar of Companies and MOA Memorandum of Articles and shareholders and partnerships. As we concluded we received a certified copy of being associated with the company. We were also asked out for lunch with Mr. Aggarwal and we felt very privileged. MADE BY: TUSHAR BHALLA
