Intra School Athletic Meet in classes I & II

The School grounds resonated with enthusiasm and vibrant house spirit on 3 March 2026. The Indian School students of Classes I and II participated with great zeal and excitement in the much-awaited Primary Athletic Meet.

The event was thoughtfully organised to promote physical fitness, coordination, confidence, and the values of healthy competition among our young learners and was flagged off by Principal, Ms Tania Joshi. Md Joshi encouraged the children to participate wholeheartedly. She reminded them that success lies not merely in winning, but in striving to give one’s very best. Her inspiring words energised the young athletes and set a positive and motivating tone for the day.

The track events commenced with a 50-metre race for the girls of Class II, where the participants displayed impressive speed, focus, and determination. This was followed by a 50-metre race for the boys of Class II, who demonstrated commendable agility and competitive spirit.

The excitement continued with 50-metre races for Class I, beginning with the girls and followed by the boys. Despite their tender age, the participants exhibited remarkable perseverance and enthusiasm as they raced confidently towards the finishing line.

The programme then progressed to the much-anticipated relay races for Classes I and II, which beautifully showcased teamwork, coordination, and house unity. The spirited cheering from teachers and fellow students further heightened the electrifying atmosphere, encouraging every participant to perform with confidence.

The meet culminated in the combined hurdle and relay races, where boys and girls from both the classes competed together. These events tested speed, balance, agility, and synchronisation, making for an exhilarating and memorable conclusion to the day’s sporting endeavours.

The Primary Athletic Meet proved to be a splendid celebration of youthful energy, sportsmanship, and collective spirit. It not only strengthened the children’s physical abilities but also instilled in them confidence, resilience, and the joy of healthy competition, leaving everyone with cherished memories of a truly successful event.
