The Investiture Ceremony 2025-26 of The Indian School was held with grandeur on 4 May 2025, marking a momentous occasion as the newly elected members of the senior student council were formally entrusted with their leadership responsibilities. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Principal, Ms Tania Joshi, Vice Principal, Dr Anu Singh, Head Teacher Primary, Ms Vandana Tewari, Vice President of the PTA, Ms Tina Kapoor along with other PTA representatives, including Ms Rita Moitra (Class 12), Ms Satinder (Class 11), Ms Priya Rao (Class 10), Ms Deepali Pandey (Class 9), Ms Rashita (Class 5), and Ms Rachna Chopra (Class 2), as well as the proud parents of the council members.
The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome extended to all dignitaries, followed by the soulful rendition of the Ganesh Vandana, setting a serene and auspicious tone for the event. Principal Ms Joshi then addressed the gathering, sharing her insights on leadership and the importance of integrity, diligence, and service, values that The Indian School upholds.
The formal investiture began with the outgoing Student Council 2024-25 passing on the mantle of leadership to the newly elected members for the session 2025-26. The Principal, Vice Principal, PTA representatives, and the House Incharges conferred badges and sashes upon the council members, symbolising their official appointment.
In a solemn moment of reverence, the newly invested council members pledged their allegiance, vowing to uphold the cherished values and principles of The Indian School with steadfast dedication. The oath was administered by Head Boy, Dhairya Singh Bisht. The ceremony reached its zenith with the harmonious rendition of the School Song, a celebration of unity, pride, and School spirit.
In her concluding address, the Principal expressed her confidence in the newly elected leaders, encouraging them to lead by example and uphold the values of The Indian School. The parents were then invited to join for tea and refreshments, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie.
