Investiture Ceremony (Junior Council)

To inculcate leadership qualities in the students and to give them a precise idea of the functioning of the administrative body, the School Prefectorial Board was formed after scrutinous interviewing and selection.

The Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2022-23 for the Junior Council was held on 20 May, 2022. The parents of the newly elected student body and representatives of the PTA attended the solemn event. The function commenced with a beautiful rendition by the junior choir. Principal, Ms Tania Joshi, inspired and encouraged the elected leaders to be dutiful and responsible.

The emcees, Shaurya Fulfagar and Mahak Mahato called out the names of the newly elected council members. Each member came up on stage as the emcees read out their admirable qualities and achievements. It was a moment of great happiness and pride for the children as

Principal, Ms Joshi, Vice-Principal, Dr Anu Singh, Primary Coordinator, Ms Vandana Tewari, Vice President PTA, Ms Tina Kapoor, PTA representative, Ms Srbani Roy and Citizenship Programme in charge, Ms Sangeeta Aswani pinned the badge and the sash on each member of the Junior Student Council for 2022-23. The newly elected council members marching up on stage in perfect step was a treat to watch. It was overwhelming to see the young ones getting back to School affairs in so much ease after a long hiatus of 2 years.

Aaishi Sengupta, Head Girl led the oath-taking ceremony. The council members pledged to uphold the ideals of School and promised to be the worthy leaders for their peers to emulate. The programme concluded with the elected student body singing the School Song.
