Janamashtami celebrations in Pre primary

Janamashtami symbolises the belief that whenever evil prevails on Earth, leading to a decline in good values, then the Supreme Being or. God incarnates himself as a human to re-establish virtues and rid the earth of sinners.

The children of Pre-primary celebrated Janamashtami on 27 August 2021 in a special assembly held online.

The little ones beautifully depicted the scene in which Lord Krishna lifts the Govardhan Parbat on his little finger to protect the people of Brindavan from the rain. This skit emphasised the message that anger is destructive. The tiny-tots attired as Bal Krishna, the villagers, Lord Indra, and the gopis looked adorable. They articulated Lord Krishnas naughty antics as a child.

The songs 'Krishna khane Madhuban Mein', and 'Chhoti Chhoti Gaiya chhote chhote gwal', mesmerised the audience.

The children presented a creative dance in colourful and vibrant costumes of Radha and Krishna. The dance was a treat for the eyes.

The assembly was a fine mosaic of dance, drama, and music. It spread awareness among the children of our traditional values.

The programme was enjoyed by one and all.
