Junior School Recognition for 2011-12, 4 May, 2012.
The junior school celebrated the academic and co-scholastic success of its students on Friday 4 May by rewarding accomplishment in the following categories:
Best in academics, sports, art, music ( both western and Indian); for showing consistent performance; for being an all rounder; for showing marked improvement and for 100% attendance.
The programme began with the rendition of the Ganesh Vandana by the junior school choir. Principal, Ms. Narula then welcomed the parents and encouraged the children, both achievers and as-yet-aspirants, for their earnest and their application. The occasion was graced by our Deputy Chairperson Dr. Ms. Nayana Goradia, Director Mr. Raisinghani, VP, PTA, Ms. Sangeeta Aswani and Deputy Director, Ms. Brinda Shroff .
As names were announced the children walked up smartly on stage and received certificates from our esteemed guests on the occasion. They displayed no nerves from the smallest to the oldest and the poise was a pleasure and a pride.
The programme was both introduced and offered a vote of thanks by newly appointed junior school Head Girl, Krithi Bajaj of Class 5 D.
The proud parents dispersed after tea with the teachers on the School lawn.
