Lesson on Mother Earth through fancy dress in Pre primary

Scholastic and co-scholastic activities have an equal importance in our School programme, for the holistic development of the child. Keeping this in view, the Pre Primary section conducted a fancy dress competition on Friday, April 21st, 2017 based on the theme, Earth which was linked with World Earth day. Expectedly the morning reverberated with the excited chatter of students who were all ready and set to let everyone know what they had learnt about the environment! The aim of the competition was, not only to blend learning with fun but also to discover bring the special talent in each of our budding Indianites. The children were dressed in colourful and innovative costumes. Each one came up to speak a few sentences, to introduce hime/ herself and the aspect of the theme they represented. [gallery link="file"] No child disappointed, each one was a special delight. In fact each one had prepared one fact or another to share with the rest. The learning achieved was thus wide and extremely endearing. Our parents deserve a big thank you, for collaborating to make the event an effective one. Every costume was carefully conceived and created from items of waste, with the child involved in the exercise-itself a great learning. Ms. Sonia Nayar.
