Literary Week: Fairies by fancy dress, a fancy dress competition, class 3.

Literary Week:Fairies by fancydress, a fancy dress competition, class 3. An inter-house fancy-dress competition was held at School in class 3 on 13 April, 2012. As part of the literary week, it was sought to bring alive the wondrous world of the fairies amidst the children. And the children rose fully to the occasion as child after child delighted with a novel costume picked from the medley of tales they had so heartily devoured both at home and in the library! The audience gasped as the parade triumphantly travelled across the stage..and Rapunzel, Cinderella, Pinochio, Little Mermaid and Alladin even cared to speak! It was extremely tough to nominate any one best house as each was as good as the next but since it was required, Varun came out tops. The judges however repeatedly expressed how every house had excelled. The participants were: Surya house- 1. Samiksha Nair; 2. Vanshika Kanaujia; 3. Disha Deb Indra house- 1. Ananya Arora; 2. Aadrita Goswamy; 3. Soumi Varun house- 1. Gurmehr Gulati; 2. Ananya Agarwal; 3. Aarushi Chandel Chandra house-1. Vedika Gupta; 2. Tanish Arora; 3. Amishi Gurmehr Gulati of Varun House stood first, Soumi Lehri of Indra House, second and Vedika Gupta of Chandra House came third. As reported by Ms. Bhanu Batra, teacher.
