On 3rd May 2014, 9 students-Garvit Kala and Shlok Tyagi, classes 12 and 11 respectively, Tanya Gupta, Pratishtha Kohli, Ritwik Arora of class 10, Divtesh Singh of class 9 and Shrinjoy, Kartik Anand, Srishti Negi of classes 6, 7 and 8 respectively went for Mathemania- a mathematical symposium at Gyan Bharti School, Saket. The competition covered various facets of Math from brainstorming to solving the Hitori puzzle and transforming mathematical ideas into Rangoli for classes VI to VIII. Saint Mary's, Bal Bharti Airforce, DPS RKP, St. Colomba's etc were participating. Classes IX and X had to showcase mathematical concepts used in our daily lives as an innovative skit. Students of XI and XII went through the challenge of solving some brain-wracking mathematical posers.
