Modern School Vasant Vihar organised Mod Promethean, a two-day literary event on the 25th and 26th of August 2014. It was a very well organised and well attended event. More than 20 top schools of Delhi took part in it. On the first day they had two activities- The 'Mad Ad' and ' Pic a Story'.
The participants at Mad Ad were Prabhav Kapur from class V, N. Risha from class V, Soumi Lahiri from class V, Revathy from class IV and Kavya from class IV.

Samaara and Sanskriti won accolades and laurels for our school when they were declared the winners of the Pic a Story contest from amongst 22 participating schools!
On the second day they had the remaining two activities- Poetic Echoes and Poetry Writing. The participants were Gurmeher Longani from class V for Poetic Echoes. She recited a beautiful poem written by Sarojini Naidu on patriotism.
Aadrita Goswami from class V and Ananya Sunderesan from class IV participated in Poetry Writing. Our young poetesses did us proud by winning the second prize!
The two day event ended on a high note, enthusing confidence in our children and proving our school motto of being ocean liners .
