Mothers Day Celebration, Pre-School, 5 May, 2012.

You are the embodiment of love, You are like a boon from above. Like you theres no other, Youre the only one, youre my mother.

The children of Pre-school made their moms feel very special by their Mothers Day celebration on 5 May, 2012 in the school Foundation Hall. As is known, the School-theme for the year being Latin America, the mummies were all dressed dapper to honour the adopted countries of their kids. The children were dressed up in their white Activity tees handprinted by them in the classroom with motifs of flowers native in the country adopted. The mothers looked extremely natty in their printed dresses and flowers in their hair. The effort of matching their get-ups with the theme and their pleasure of participation was affectionately abundant.

The children welcomed their moms with the songs I Love you Mom, Moms Love is so wonderful and others. Music was made to match the melody of the little voices and the medley was melting. Many a mom brought out a hanky for help!

A Punctuality prize was the privilege of the most punctual mother from each section and 5 proud mothers walked away with School tea-sets. An entertaining game Guess the tunes then occupied the gathering as the moms harried to hat the right choice. Ofcourse they were actively egged on by their little ones. Later, the children, guided along by their helpers brought out the refreshments for their moms. The eats had been planned lovingly with a Latin American touch by Head Teacher Ms. Vasudev.

The mothers were asked to share their thoughts as they finished with tea. Several moms spoke and seemed very touched by this special occasion of bonding. The smiles only stretched as the sentiments surfed.
