Adventure-odyssey with Tintin
On 23 April, 2012, students of classes 5 and 7 were invited for the movie,"The Adventures Of Tintin-The Secret of the Unicorn" by an initiative of the Hindustan Times. Noone needed an introduction to the character and his adventure played out by Jamie Bell, Daniel Craig, Toby Jones and Simon Bell on celluloid. Tintin and Captain Haddock set off on a treasure hunt for a sunken ship and Tintinably helps thedrunken Captain Haddock to in reclaim his ancestral treasure. In the bargain, the evil designs ofSakharine are demolished. The children were excited and enjoyed the outing. The animation and effects were mounted magically and added to the thrill. The antics of Captain Haddock had the children greatly amused. Needless to say the little audience too carried back the animation! It was so much fun, packed with adventure and action"; "I loved Tintin and Snowy"; "My jaws are aching, I laughed so much"; I loved the fight between Captain Haddock and Sakharine" etc etc continued to resound around us teachers for a long time!
