At the Indian Instrumental Orchestra event, our students presented a fusion of north Indian semi-classical with folk and Carnatic music. For the Indian Vocal Classical Music, the primary students presented bandish and tarana on raga Kedar while the middle-senior group presented bandish and tarana on raga Jog.The theme for Indian Creative Style Choreography and Western Choreography was pollution. Our students presented an Odissi dance for both levels of Indian Classical Dance.

The theme for the science projects was Save our Environment. Middle school students prepared an Oil Skimmer to rid oil pollution. An oil skimmer is used by ships. It is placed on one side of the ship to collect oil from the water.

Another way to get rid of oil pollution is by using dry hair. The oil sticks to the rough surface of the hair and is removed from the water. The oil thus obtained cannot be reused, but it is a cost-effective method to reduce pollution caused by oil.

Class IX students of the senior category, prepared a Smoke Generator. This device is used to collect smoke from factories vide a channel using an exhaust fan and finally passed through a smoke precipitator. The clean smoke is released with pressure and is then used to run a windmill or a turbine in order to generate electricity. The channel is made from tungsten to prevent melting.

Students of classes IX-XI presented a skit on the topic Food Safety. They portrayed how food adulteration and contamination directly affects the consumer. They also highlighted the role of government bodies like the FSSAI and the FPO. The message that the students conveyed through the skit was that it is very important for the consumer to be aware of his rights and duties in order to ensure complete food safety.

Like every year, this year too, the event offered a great platform to our students, to showcase their talent and win laurels and accolades for the school. It was an overwhelming experience for both students and teachers.
