Nature photography during Environment Week- class 10.

'To walk in nature is to witness a thousand miracles.'

As a part of Environment Week celebrations at School, 15 students of class X got an opportunity to walk through a park in the neighbourhood Sadiq Nagar, on 12th July 2017.

We were allowed to carry our cameras to try and capture nature from close. We were accompanied by our teacher, Ms. Nausheen Wasi who explained nuances of what we saw as we walked. We had a time window of about 45 minutes to make a frame of what we felt displayed nature at its best. The aim of this activity was to allow students to appreciate and admire nature and capture its best aspects.

Photography is not just an activity, it enables us to preserve the spectacle of nature that we have enjoyed at any time. The students clicked some amazing pictures and shared these with each other. In fact an animated exchange followed on why and how a certain object of photography was better than the next! The angles of light and the hues it lent to the flora and the fauna was a specially uplifting aspect of the exercise!

It was indeed a thrilling and beautiful experience. In fact, the rain made the surroundings luxuriant and we delighted walking barefoot on the wet grass, so inspired were we, to be in touch, literally with nature!

We look forward to more such nature walks in future as this allows us to think out of the box and explore our environment.
