Nutrition workshop for Middle School

An informative and engaging workshop on Diet and Nutrition was conducted on 19 March 2026 for the students of classes VI to VIII. The session was designed to promote awareness regarding healthy dietary practices and to emphasise the significance of balanced nutrition in maintaining overall well-being.

At the workshop, the resource persons elucidated the process of digestion in a clear and age-appropriate manner, enabling students to comprehend how food is broken down and utilised by the body. They further underscored the importance of essential nutrients, including proteins, healthy fats, and dietary fibre, in supporting growth, development, and optimal health.

The session was highly interactive, with enthusiastic student participation reflected through questions and discussions. The use of a well-structured presentation enhanced the effectiveness of the workshop, making the concepts accessible, engaging, and easy to understand.
