Students of The Indian School participated in an online interschool mathematics event MATHEMANIA 2020, conducted by Birla Vidya Niketan on 18 December 2020. There were different events for classes III - V.
Shourya Gupta of class III B and Aashman Jawa of class III A participated in the event Geo-Genius in which the students had to prepare a 3D model using a plane and solid shapes found in items used in daily life.
BACKHOE LOADER
Kishika Assundaney and Shelin Raj of class IV participated in the event, Board- Master (Boredom-breaker) in which students had to design their own board game using one or more mathematical concept.
Manha Furqan of VA and Mrigakshi Dhar of VB participated in the event, Budding Designer in which they had to build a 3D model of their classroom ( post Covid) or alternately, their own dream house.
DREAM HOUSE
Students participated enthusiastically in the events. It was a good learning experience to perform and excel. The competition offered opportunity to acquirr new experience, showcase skills, analyse and evaluate outcomes and uncover personal aptitude. It also encouraged the students to adopt innovative techniques and develop their ideas and skills.
