Orientation session for classes 7-9

School held an Orientation Programme on 24 March 2026 for the parents of students of classes VII to IX for the academic session 2026–27. The programme was designed to acquaint parents with the academic framework, institutional expectations, and developmental priorities for the forthcoming year.

The session commenced with an address by Principal, Ms Tania Joshi, who articulated the School’s vision and underscored the collaborative role of parents and educators in fostering the students’ holistic development. This was followed by an address by Vice Principal, Dr Anu Singh, who reiterated the importance of discipline, consistency, and active parental engagement in supporting student achievement.

Following this, Ms Asha Lakshmi, Coordinator, conducted a session on Academic Guidelines and School Procedures, presenting a comprehensive overview of classroom practices, assessment patterns, and institutional norms.

The session provided clarity on evaluation methodologies and outlined expectations pertaining to participation, regularity, and conduct. The programme also featured a session by School counsellor, Ms Meghna Joshi, on adolescence and growing up, during which she addressed the physical and emotional changes characteristic of this developmental stage and offered practical strategies for constructive parental support.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing appreciation for the parents’ presence and participation. Overall, the orientation served as a valuable platform for aligning expectations and strengthening the partnership between the school and parents. Parents were then directed to their respective venues for the Parent-Teacher-Child Dialogue (PTCD).
