Class 3 A were persistent about a chance to host a special assembly on the Environment. The need to conserve and to nurture. They called it Our Amazing Plant World" at their special chance on 14 December, 2012. Beginning with the School song and a run-through of the day's headlines, the students got cracking on their pet theme. Each member of the class had a role to play on the occasion.
A poem, " A Tiny Plant" was aptly rendered with expression by Channak Dang to set the mood. This was followed by a melodious group song, " Van mat kato" by the junior choir.
[gallery columns="2"] In great confidence Aadrita Goswamy, Mohammed Raafe and , then, presented a skit on the value of trees in our lives. They used handcrafted props created by their teachers and had strung the story themselves. They implored their listeners to plant more and more trees.Next followed some golden rules of keeping our Environment clean and green. No sooner than the speakers finished, the little audience profusely offered their suggestions! Quite unexpectedly, many diverse and clever suggestions were added to the already lengthy list!
