Our School takes the INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL AWARD (ISA)

Congratulations to The Indian School for winning the British Council International School Award for the year 2013!

The ISA is a benchmarking scheme that recognises schools for outstanding teaching practice that integrates international dimension in curriculum and inducts innovation to classroom transaction.

The ISA also offers content to practice new ICT skills and pedagogy in a safe and structured manner with the objective of making learning joyful. A set of seven Action Plans, addressing the areas of global issues, joint collaboration with overseas schools, and activities based on internet research were applied over a period of 10 months encompassing all age- groups at School.

The award authorizes our School to use the ISA logo in all school correspondence for a period of three years. We shall receive the award at a special ceremony at Kolkata where we shall also attend a workshop under the same auspices, Connecting Classroom Workshop in November.

Ms. Rashi Narula, former Principal initiated this prestigious project and Ms. Tania Joshi, Principal motivated us to carry it to fruitful conclusion with the careful compilation of the dossier.

The efforts of Purvi Mehta, Sandhya Batheja, Charu Bhatnagar, Neelima Sharma, Nidhi Bhardwaj, Protima Roy and Ekta Chitkara are noteworthy for successfully concluding their Action Plan activities.
