Parents Advocacy Workshop on CCE, 5 May, 2012.

The National Progressive Schools Conference ( NPSC) organized a Parents Advocacy Workshop on CCE in collaboration with CBSE at Bal Bharti Public School, Gangaram Marg on 5 May, 2012. CBSE Chairman Mr. Vineet Joshi, ( IAS) and Dr. Sadhna Parashar, Director, ( Training) CBSE were the main speakers at this workshop. The workshop sought to train parents to become Parent-advocates of CCE. Teachers, Principals and parents of more than 50 schools from across Delhi participated in the event. Our Dr. Shikha Sharma represented our School accompanied by a team of 5 parents of students from classes 9 and 10. The workshop offered several invaluable insights on the finer angles of the programme. Parents also had an opportunity to clarify perceptions that they carried.
