'Pariksha pe Charcha' painting competition

23rd January 2023, the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose is observed as Parakram Diwas. PM Mr Modi linked the occasion with the board exams by imploring all young students to become 'warriers' and not 'worriers'!

In continuation of the initiative, Pariksha Pe Charcha 2023, a nation-wide painting competition was organised at 500 Kendriya Vidyalayas across the country. It was a unique initiative for students to cope with examination stress. The theme of the competition was 'Exam Warriors', based on a book written by the Prime Minister.

Twenty five topics were made available to the participants prior to the event. Four students of our School participated in the competition. The requisite art materials, such as oil pastels and poster colours, were provided to the participants. The duration of the event was two hours. However, extra time was provided to the students to ensure the completion of their work.

All participants received the book "Exam Warrior", as a token of participation, along with refreshments. This competition attracted about 100 students from Delhi-NCR and the top 5 entries received a certificate and two books of national importance.

Falak Rahi of class XIE secured the Third Position in the competition, her mantra being 'Be a Warrior not a Worrier'.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience and the organising team did a fantastic job to make this event a success.
