H.E Dr. Janice Darbari, Consul General of Montenegro in India, invited our School to participate in a poster-making competition on 13th July 2016 at the Tagore International School. The occasion was Montenegro National Day. Our Principal, Ms. Tania Joshi graced the event as did a number of delegates and ambassadors from Belgium, Ukraine, Argentina, Kenya, Congo, and Zambia.
5 students, Prakshi Gulati (XB), Lokesh (XB), Meghna Naavariya (XA), Durga Rohilla (X A) and Vaishnavi (IX B) took part in the competition. 26 Schools from across Delhi participated.
[gallery link="file"]We were asked to paint a poster, promoting tourism in Montenegro among Indians. Cultural tourism, eco-tourism, agricultural tourism, adventure sports, inspirational quotes and several other areas were suggested to the students to use as themes for their posters.
All participants were warmly felicitated with gift hampers and certificates. Ms. Garima Singh.
