A summer pool party is one of the best ways to energise the children in the warm weather. It sets the mood for all the other outdoor activities to be conducted in the season. The month of May is indeed very hot and the students get exhausted. Activities that involve playing with water strengthen childrens motor skills and develop the ability to propel and navigate. This activity improves the skills of coordination even as it helps generally cool off.
Keeping this in mind, School held the customary Splash Pool Party on 11th May, 2018 for the students of the Pre-School and the Pre-Primary.
[gallery link="file" order="DESC"]The poolside was tastefully decorated with strings of balloons, balls and buntings. The tables were arranged with brightly coloured garden umbrellas to lend shade. The little ones looked very excited as they stepped into the water. Soon they were splashing about and happily frolicking in the water. They stood beneath the fountains to enjoy the gushing water!
Peppy music playing in the background made for a magical mood. The children tapped to the lively beats even as they played in the cool water. Refreshing drinks to sip in the cool pool as the music played completed the memorable scene.
The summer suddenly felt bearable!
