Pre primary visits the Airforce Museum
On 20th September 2023, students of the Pre primary visited the Indian Air Force Museum located at the Palam Air force station. It was a pleasant Wednesday morning and the children were filled with anticipation. They were excited, attentive, and asked various questions during the visit. It also fostered a sense of teamwork among the students as they experienced a new environment together. The children got a vital lesson on how to conduct themselves in different situations.

The objective behind visiting the Air Force Museum was to apprise the students about the different modes of transportation. They were able to identify two modes - road and air. The students also developed an understanding of how the Indian air force is an integral part of our country.
The museum showcased the very best of what the Indian Air Force has stood for in both war and peace. Its compilation is in itself a lasting tribute to hundreds of people who in their own way contributed towards building a glorious tradition. The gallery led to a hanger exhibiting different types of aircraft. The larger aircraft were exhibited outside the hanger. The students followed the instructions of their teachers and were on their best behaviour. They walked around the galleries of the museum to view exhibits relating to aircraft. Museums offer rich resources for supplementing classroom learning. Needless to say, this too was an invaluable educational experience.
On their return, the young students blended the knowledge gained with artistic expression as they drew some of the beautiful aircraft they had just seen.
