One of the best ways to delight a child is to take a break from routines for an excursion to the park!
Nehru Park is one such park of Delhi which is known for it's beauty, tranquility and fondly named after Pandit Nehru who dearly loved children.The Park boasts of bed after bed of welcoming blossoms interspersed with mounds and rock inscribed with famous lines spoken by Chacha Nehru.
Our liitle Pre-school stars visited Nehru Park along with all their teachers and didis on 1 November, 2013. The children took a guided walk-about around the park while their teachers introduced them to the memory of Pandit Nehru who loved and keenly observed nature. Colours and smells were pointed out to them as were shapes of the foliage. Infact all the senses were entreated to enable a complete appreciation of the environment. Soon they were given a chance to run free before we all sat down for a welcome bite of packed picnic snacks.
