Pre-school visits the National Rail Museum
On 21 February 2025, the students of Pre school went on an educational excursion to the National Rail Museum. With an eagerness to explore the fascinating world of trains and transportation, the children embarked on a memorable journey that was both educational and fun.
Around 9:30 am, the buses arrived at the National Rail Museum, and the children entered the museum in a single line. To make it easier to manage time and see everything quickly, the children were divided into two groups. While one group explored the museum, the other group waited in line for the toy train ride. At the museum, the kids were excited to see the different train models and learned about how trains have changed over the years. Haroop Kaur Bakshi and Takshya Dawar of Pre school Kokab happily shared what they knew with their friends, telling them how trains run on tracks and make the "chuk chuk" sound.
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the toy train ride. The children waited excitedly for their turn to hop aboard, and their faces lit up with pure joy as they enjoyed the ride. Kairav Sharma Ahuja and Ariana Suri of Pre school Capella were thrilled to share stories with their friends about their experiences of riding on the train with their families. Yuvaan Verma of Pre school Kokab shared that although he's been on a train many times with his family, this ride was by far the best! This provided an opportunity for the children to relate the knowledge they had gained in the classroom about transportation to their real-life experiences. The children also took the chance to capture memories with photographs, posing happily in front of the various train models and exhibits. Raavya Kumar and Chahat Bansal of Pre school Agena, expressed a wish to stay at the museum longer, not wanting the fun-filled day to end!
The National Rail Museum proved to be an ideal destination, blending both education and entertainment seamlessly, leaving the children with valuable memories and knowledge.
