A team of thirteen gifted artists drawn from classes III to V of The Indian School, were accompanied by their teacher, Ms Bernadette Bedi to the MOD Promethean Literary Fest held at Modern School, Vasant Vihar on 26 July 2019.

The extremely talented and enthusiastic team participated in three events.
Event 1: Twist in a Tale
Five versatile actors of classes IV and V- Rayaan Paul, Tashika Rao, Krittika Basu, Rishima Dube and Aarohan Chakravarty lent a dramatic twist to the all-time favourite tale, Hansel & Gretel.
Krittika Basu of Class V made a wicked witch look good. The acting was super and the whole play was enacted in verse, which kept the audience spellbound.
Event 2: Poetry Recitation
Six students of class III- Aaryan Sehgal, Adrika Chowdhury, Iddhiya Chatterji, Avi Kapoor, Hemakshi Talwar and Yashita Dwivedi recited the poem, My Doggy Ate My Essay by Darren Sardelli with zeal, conviction and enthusiasm.
