Psycho Olympiad

The students of classes XI and XII namely Vidhi Hamirwasia, Ritwika Dasgupta, Saumya Chadda, Reva Kalra, Simonil Jassawala, Muskaan Sancheti, Suraj Choudhary, Prabsimran Kaur and Mitali Nanda participated in a Psycho Olympiad held at The National Science Centre on 22 and 23 of August 2017 from 9 am to 1 pm. The programme was organised by Expressions India.

During the opening ceremony, Dr. Jitendra Nagpal, noted psychologist, spoke about psychological problems faced by todays youth, arising from technology addiction, problematic interpersonal relationships and peer pressure.

On the first day of the programme, the following events were held- On the Spot Painting, Quiz and Poster making.

The topic for Painting was Protection of Adolescents from the Cyber World. On the second day, the following events took place- Extempore and the Nukkad Natak. The topic for the Nukkad Natak was The Role of Schools in promoting Mental Health and for the Extempore, the topic given was Optimism is the key to Mental Health.

Participating enthusiastically in these competitions was a fruitful experience and the students look forward to more such events in the future.
