Budding cricketers of The Indian School demonstrated commendable athletic prowess, technical skill, and discipline at the CBSE Cricket Trials organised for the Under-14 and Under-17 Boys’ categories from 16 to 18 July 2026. The trials served as a rigorous competitive platform, evaluating the players on match fitness, strategic awareness, and temperament.
Showcasing exceptional grit, technique, and sporting spirit throughout the selection process, our players delivered noteworthy performances. In the Under-14 category, three promising players (Harkrit Singh 7-C, Ruhaan Bisht 9-D, Utkarsh 9-C) earned their selection for the second round of trials following their impressive individual displays. In the Under-17 division, one player (Arjun Tara 9-B) demonstrated outstanding skill to clear the preliminary assessment, advancing to the second round of trials and the subsequent selection fixtures.
The exposure gained during these trials provided the young athletes with valuable competitive insights, bolstering their confidence and technical acumen. The school congratulates the qualifying players and extends its best wishes as they intensify their preparations to strive for excellence in the forthcoming selection rounds.
