Students' Recognition Day is held each year to honour exemplary achievements of students at our School. This is the day when the management, faculty and staff recognise outstanding students in the field of academics, scholastic and co-scholastic fields . It is one of the most exciting and eagerly- awaited events on the academic calendar and a milestone in the lives of the students.
The event was graced by Mrs. Goradia, Vice- Chairperson of our School, Mrs. Narula, Principal, Mr. Raisinghani, Director, Mrs. Tania Joshi, Vice Principal and Mrs Vinita Roy, HT, Pre-Primary.
The event started at 11.15 am with the lighting of the lamp followed by a memorable melody, 'YEH JEEVAN HAI' sung by the junior school choir. This year a unique feature was added to the event. The entire event was meticulously conducted by members of the Student Council. The students spoke with utmost confidence and pride and carried the event forward with poise.
Mrs. Neena Maini, HT Primary then addressed the gathering and shared her ideas and the significance of tthe occasion.
The first set of awards were announced by Head Boy, Shrinjoy Mukherjee. These were the General Proficiency awards given to students who had achieved the highest percentage in the class. This year, the award was given to 3 students of each section. Students who had got the highest percentage in a particular subject (across all five sections of a class) too, were awarded for their meritorious performance. This set of awards were given away by Mrs. Goradia, to the students of class 1 of the academic session 2012-2013.
[gallery columns="2"]The second set of awards were announced by Head Girl Anushna Thacker and were given away by Mr. Raisinghani to the young achievers of class of the academic session 2012-2013.
The third set of awards were announced by office bearer, Ryan Suri, and were given away by Principal, Mrs. Narula to the students class 3 of the academic session 2012-2013.
Thereafter, she addressed the gathering. She rendered a stirring message which was applauded by one and all.
This was followed by the fourth set of awards which were given away by Mrs. Tania Joshi to the students of class 4 for the academic session 2012-2013.
The last set of academic awards were announced by Khushi Gaba ,and were given away by Mrs. Vinita Roy, HT Pre-Primary to the students of class 5 for the academic session 2012-2013.
The Management instituted a special awards for students who had accomplished excellence in the field of sports. These awards were given away by Mrs. Sangeeta Aswani, PTA Vice- President.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Shrishneet Kaur who expressed deep gratitude towards School and the teachers for their continuous and invaluable support and guidance.
