Recognition Day for the academic year 2022-23, was held in the Foundation Hall on 19 May 2023. TSchool awarded students for excelling in scholastics, co-scholastics and sports. The efforts and achievements of students of classes VI to XII were recognised on the occasion.
The proud parents of the award winners were present to witness the ceremony along with Principal Ms Tania Joshi, Vice-Principal, Dr Anu Singh, Head Teacher- Primary Ms Vandana Tewari, Vice- President PTA Ms Tina Kapoor and other members of the PTA.
The event commenced with Ms Joshi addressing the assembly, laying stress on the importance of recognising and cultivating young talent at School. She acknowledged the contribution of the teachers and parents in shaping the students.
An invocation dance, titled Guru Vandana was presented by a group of students, expressing gratitude and reverence to the guru or the teacher for imparting knowledge and wisdom. The performance was followed by a motivational song presented by the school choir. The audience was spellbound by the mellifluous rendition of the piece.
Student achievers were then awarded prizes for their outstanding achievements in the different categories such as academics, sports, and co-curricular activities. Each student was called on stage to receive his or her well-deserved recognition and applause, acknowledging hard work and perseverance.
A vote of thanks was presented by Shamit Sharma (12C), and Shraddha Saraswat (9B) who expressed gratitude on the occasion. The function concluded with the school song collectively sung by all attendees.
Recognition Day greatly helps students realise the worth of hard work and dedication and encourages them to persevere. The event was a great success, inspiring students to strive for greater heights in the various fields. It was event was a fitting tribute to the spirit of dedication and excellence that is the hallmark of our School.
