Recognition Day, classes 6-12.

Our school celebrated Recognition Day on 10 May, 2013 for classes 6-12. A day when awardees and their families together with teachers and staff gathered and celebrated their success. Chief Guest, Mrs. Renu Sharma, Deputy Director of Education was welcomed with a plant grown by student gardeners in our school's very own nursery.

The Chief Guest along with our Principal, Mrs. Narula and Vice Principal, Mrs. Joshi lit the 'Lamp of Knowledge', symbolizing our school's motto, 'Knowledge is Power'. The Senior School choir then soulfully presented Tagore's timeless ' Aguner poroshonomi choaao pranne', which was a prayer to light the soul with His holy flame.

The honorable Chief Guest then addressed the students. She applauded their efforts, encouraging them to develop as holistic personalities. Altogether 150 talented students of class VI to XII were awarded certificates in recognition of their scholastic achievements and for their exceptional accomplishments feats in Sport. The awards were given away by our Mrs. Renu Sharma, Dr (Mrs ) Nayana Goradia, (Vice Chairperson), Mr. Raisinghani, Mrs. Sangeeta Aswani, , Mrs. Narula, Mrs. Tania Joshi, Mrs.Neena Maini and Mrs. Vineeta Roy.

The audience was also sensitized to the social evil of female infanticide by a dance performance choreographed and performed by the students of classes 10 and 11.

The ceremony ended with a vote of thanks by Anish Bhat of class XI and the singing of the citizenship anthem.
