Republic day celebrations in pre primary

Nation on Republic Day.

On the occasion of Indias 70th Republic Day, the Pre primary hosted a special assembly. A patriotic fervour warmed up the cold winter morning as it buzzed with the excitement of the children.

The assembly began with the Pre school and Pre primary choir melodiously singing the timeless, We shall overcome.. and Saare Jahan se Acha.. A specially choreographed group dance expressed the the value of unity in diversity. The young dancers were gaily dressed in the colours of our republic and the formations they presented were impressive.

The programme culminated with the national anthem sung in unison by the entire assembly. The children seemed to have absorbed the spirit of the occasion as they stood upright and and energetically sang aloud in harmony.
