Rhyme Time, class 4
A choral recitation competition was organised for the students of class IV on Friday 31st July, 2015. The event saw the enthusiastic participation of all the students of the class. They were extremely animated as they recited and enacted their poems with clarity and poise. The students recitations were a treat for audience as they got to glimpse a refreshing blend of anthropomorphism, love, nature, compassion and humour through poems like The owl and the Pussy Cat by Edward Lear, Walking with grandpa by Rodney O Hurd, Tigers Forever by Ruskin Bond, If I Ever See by Lydia Maria Child and All My Great Excuses" by Kenn Nesbitt. They were recited by classes IV A, B, C, D and E respectively.

The students got an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of expression, thoughts, rhyme and rhythm and learnt poetry through memorisation, performance, and competition. Where needing correction, the teachers were at hand to do so. They seemed interested to try more soon!
