The folk art workshop was conducted on the Principals lawn and the folk music event was held in the auditorium.

Participants of different schools mingled with the students of the host school, lending an air of festivity and excitment to the surroundings. The hospitality of the host school was also heartwarming. Senior students from the host school acted as escorts for the visiting participants and teachers.

Our School showcased a piece of folk music from Mizoram to a rapturous applause by the audience!

All in all, it was a brilliant, informative and entertaining day for our students.

As we understood, the festival celebrates the true spirit of Indian culture and its divers nuances and this is imperative for the young generation to also taste it. Participation in such events helps students understand the complex and the distinctive flavour of our cultural heritage and enables them to develop a sense of pride and belonging in the same.
