'Say no to Crackers' campaign on 31st October 2015
The Citizenship Programme along with some local political reps and responsible residents of Defence Colony joined hands to launch a campaign against the burning of fire crackers. A variety of posters were printed, a toll free mobile number was registered for those who wanted to extend support and a Facebook page /whatsapp group was set up to post visuals of our campaign. The Citizenship Programme scripted a Nukkad Natak, 'SAY NO TO CRACKERS' and started a signature campaign at School among students, teachers, staff and helpers, after sensitizing everyone on the ill effects of burning crackers on our environment and the money saved by not burning crackers.
