Senior Recognition Day, 4 May, 2012
On 4 May, students of classes 6-12 were felicitated for excellence in the fields of academics, sports and co-curricular activities, for the academic session 2011-2012.
Parents, teachers and students assembled with enthusiasm in the School hall and the ceremony commenced with a soulful rendition of shlokas by the school choir. This was followed by the Principals address where she applauded those who would receive recognition as also encouraged those who aspired to, but were yet short of the accomplishment. For the rest she implored that they must attempt to orient and apply themselves better.
Chairman, Mr. Prafull Goradia explained with a touch of humour, how important it was for effort to be applauded. Citing instances from his own experiences he pointed out how recognition had each time, egged him on to greater effort and in turn greater accomplishment.
Our able comperes , Anubha Sagar and Kriti Dang welcomed the guests and announced the names of students who were to receive honours as members of the School management gave away the certificates. The cameras clicked continuously to catch the fond frames as both teachers and parents looked on in great pride.
A vote of thanks was then offered by Head girl, Amrita Dutta and Head Boy, Anmol Arora as an appreciation to all present. The ceremony concluded with the School song.
