A team of 17 students of classes IV to XII participated in Shri Teq, 2018 a technology symposium at The Shri Ram School, Moulsari between 8 and 10 October. It was attended by 25 schools of Delhi and NCR. Our Students participated in the various events like Programming, Quiz, Gaming, MS Power Point and Scratch.
1. Tech Quiz, Junior Sriyah, Aarush and Pragyan of class V participated in this event. Each team comprised of three participants. After the preliminary round, our team qualified for semi-final which consisted of three rounds. The first round was a visual round in which a logo of a game or a picture of a famous personality from the field of IT was shown to the teams. In the second round a question relating to new technology was asked. The last round was a buzzer round with negative marking for every wrong answer.
2 Tech Quiz:- Middle: Vatsal Kukreti, Uday Soni of class VII and Farzeen of class VIII participated here and qualified for the semi-final.
3. Tech Quiz Senior Tejkirat Singh, Karan Gupta of X and Darsh Kumar of class XI participated in this event.
4. Build game for Scratch- Scratch was the medium used in this challenge. Myra and Mehak of class V participated in this category and had to submit a game using scratch. They made a game which went up to three levels.
5. Programming Samarth Saxena and Gitansh Satija of class XII participated in this programming event which required the use of coding with the help of softwares such as C++ and Java . The event was held in the senior domain and the duration was 60 minutes.
6. Gaming Meharpreet and Yajush class XI participated in the gaming event. They qualified for semi-final.
7. MS. Powerpoint Harshvardhan and Nivriti of class IV participated in this category. Videos and images relating to the topic were given on the spot to the teams. The topic given was Moral Values.
